does not make a difference

once i read this article it made me start to think. if i was to have a child go deaf i would love to know what he or she wanted. i respect peoples decisions. on the other hand if my child was born deaf i would go along and get the cochlear implant. i would still use ASL because in all, the child is still deaf. i would love my child anyway.
