It would be interesting
by: Anonymous

I have been researching this debate on when children should get implants and if the parent should wait until the child can decide. Therefore here is what I seem to have observed. Unless the child gets the implant before age one, they will have less of a chance of obtaining good speech. BUT for those whose parents had the opportunity and chose not to get the implants, it seems that most of these people are not angry they didn't get one. They seem happy to be Deaf.

I know one child that is nearly 10 that got the 1st implant at age 14 months and the second at age 5 1/2. This child likes the first implant but hates the second which is a model Advanced Bionics has had many problems with. This child has stated that if they had a deaf child themselves they would NOT get implants. Interesting. So it would be interesting if here was more study on the grown children who haven't gotten them when they could have, and those that have gotten them.

Even though the children are undergone the implants they are not happy with that. I have seen so many children feeling sad about these difficulties. The best way to make them happy is by teaching them to learn about the nature. Make them study the kunfu. They will learn to hear small sounds even without the implants. So many children have positive results on this.Telestep ladders

Crossing That Bridge NEW

In early age, it is not good to make your deaf child get through the procedure of implants. You should compensate the problem by teaching him sign language, by using advance technology. Your support is very important for your child. Keep yourself updated and check essaycenter for further guidance.
