Thanks, Drolz, for a fair assessment of the DBC/AGB dilemma and for the emphasis on visual language as a vehicle for education of the young child.

It will require a radical paradigm shift before hearing people can see beyond audition as the only way of communication. As long as they think hearing=language or hearing=English, we have a great distance to go before achieving true equality of thought.
