A Wish for a CI survey

Sure wish there was a means to calculate how many children ARE benefiting with the CIs and how many AREN'T.

The media only shows the success stories and they don't seem to ever present anything else.

Even Dr. Laura claims NO child would want to be born deaf. She thinks Deaf parents that don't get their children CIs are abusive. I know. I heard her say it on her radio show.

Makes me worried. Will a law be passed that forces Deaf parents to get their Deaf child CIs? ARE there enough unscrupulous CI doctors that would be willing to see that bill passed?

No one cares how Deaf feel. Everyone wants to be their "Savior" but they don't understand the Deaf don't want to be "Saved"!
